This is a 1950's Agfa Isolette III. Its a 120 rollfilm folding camera which takes 12 pictures 6cm x 6cm in size. The Isolette III is almost the top of the Isolette range and boasts an uncoupled rangefinder. This particular example also has the more expensive Solinar lens and Compur shutter. When bought, it didn't work well enough to take pictures. I've been gathering information about fixing these cameras, and have now unjamed the film winder which at least lets me take pictures. The rangefinder is still in need of adjustment though. Click here to find out more about camera repair.

This picture was taken with a Polaroid SLR680 instant film camera.
This camera has only had one outing since its fix. The following photo is my favourite from that roll of film, showing some flowers at Fleet pond. It was taken on Fuji Velvia slide film at about F3.5, 1/500 and scanned using Slidescan. Unfortunately the limited resolution of my flatbed scanner doesn't do this slide justice.
Also - although not really clear in this picture - these photos do show that the lens is marked - so this camera goes on the list of ones needing their lenses cleaning :-(
