The is camera is one of a range of animal cameras distributed in the UK by the highstreet Chemist chain, Boots. Whilst obviously a caterpiller design - boots refer to it as a ‘Bug’ Camera. Like the others in this range it was made in China. This particular camera did come with its original box. The box should also have contained an instruction leaflet, film and matching photo album (all missing). However the guarentee slip shows this camera dates to 1994. As well as the obvious caterpiller design on the front - the camera also has a strap toggle in the shape of a caterpiller too.
This is the same specification as the Boots Tiger camera. Some of the other models also have built in flash units. All cameras in the range however do have some neat child friendly features:
