The Gravis was the most expensive of my boot sale buys at £2 – but certainly one of the best.
A decent flightstick style stick with the full complement of 4 buttons which is the most the gameport connector can manage without resorting to tricks. As well as the throttle control - it also features a ‘hat’ switch – though initially I was unable to get this to work. After a bit of investigation I discovered that gameport joysticks could implement the hat switch in one of 2 ways and this used the CH method. Armed with this information and the Windows 95 joystick recalibration dialog box it proved to work very well.
